Ok, note to self.....SELF...when you are blogging you can't hit enter (twice) until you are DONE typing your post or else it will post after the first few words......Thank you SELF for paying attention.
I'll start our little blog by giving a shout out to friends and family. I know I'm not the best at keeping in touch with everyone, so at lease with this blog you'll know I'm alive :) For years my wise mother has told me I should be writing down the funny sayings that my children come up with. I FINALLY took her advice a few months ago....I know I know my oldest is 7!! Anywhoo, we are amassing quite the little quote book for our little turkeys.
I'll just tell you about one little dandy quote this morning from my oldest that will surely become a classic. She and her best friend Josh have been trying to KISS every time they see each other. Now before anyone goes postal (daddy and grandpa!)...I have talked with her about this and we are working on being more modest and less kissy! Anyway, they are in the pool today and Emma starts hollering that Morgan and Josh have kissed. Well I tell Morgan to get out of the pool and sit at the picnic table. Tiffany (Josh's mom) also has him get out of the pool and so the 2 rascals are sitting at the picnic table lamenting over their misfortune. Then I overhear Morgan say to Josh..., "Emma is just wrong about us kissing. We didn't KISS, my lips just accidentally bumped into yours!! " Well as you can imagine Tiff and I have to go around the side of the house to muffle our laughter. I bet she tries to use THAT excuse in high school too!!
