The girls being scary pirates!Hello all! Well Grand Haven was invaded tonight by PIRATES!! Our local library is having festivities all week to celebrate "International speak like a pirate" day on Friday. I am clearly uninformed when I didn't realize there was actually a whole DAY set aside to speak like a pirate!! Anyway, the pirates came ashore in downtown Grand Haven and the girls were SOOO excited. Even Captain Jack Sparrow showed up!! (alas Johnny Depp it was not! darn it!) The girls had a ball and it was very cute to see them so excited! Things are finally starting to settle down here now that school is back in session. Hope all is well with everyone!!

Ok...I am shaking in my boots! The girls look pretty real! And the "real" pirate...well...tell him that there are lots of treasures up here in Washington that he might want to look for...I am sure we could help him dig.
