The holiday season is underway!

How in the world has another month gone by since my last post!! I swear it's just NOT possible. Anyway, we survived Halloween and trick or treating. We did trunk or treat at the local Baptist church and then just stopped by a few houses in our neighborhood. Morgan was a leopard (or a cheetah or jaquar depending on her mood at the time), Emma was a ballerina angel.....a ballerina costume with a halo....(gotta give her A+ for imagination), and little miss Peyton was a fairy princess. They were exhausted after 1 block of trick or treating, so it made for a relatively easy night for mommy.

Well last night, the girls and I headed over to Sears to get the Christmas portraits done. Now those who know me well know that I DREAD this event every year. It is a harrowing adventure trying to get 3 young children to look at the camera (at the same time), smile (without cheesecake grin), and still have fun in the process. I said a quick prayer as we were walking in the door and to my delight it was a GREAT session! All the pics turned out great and we will be sending out cards soon :)

On that note, I'll close this for now. We are all doing fine, everyone is healthy (knocking on some wood here!) and we are looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Don will be coming home for a visit the beginning of January and my parents are coming up for 2 weeks over Christmas. We love you all! Take care and I'll post more.........soon :)
