Our new dog, Cody, is starting to be more comfortable around the family and house. His personality is beginning to come out and we have discovered that he is a kleptomaniac. He steals "stuff" whenever he can. He doesn't chew or destroy the stolen items, he just takes them to his bed for safe keeping. For example, last night I'm watching TV in the living room when I notice he is trying to drag a small throw rug into his bed. I go into our bedroom where his bed/blanket are and notice he has swiped a baby doll, his leash, 2 stuffed animals and one of Peyton's binkies. I'm not sure if he thinks he has to collect things in case he moves again or if he just can't help himself. The picture on the right was taken when he tried to steal something from under our bed and he got himself STUCK! 92 pounds of moose meat crammed under our bed......I was laughing too hard to be able to help him.....he finally extricated himself after 15 minutes of grunting. (lesson learned? probably NOT) The other picture is his royal highness sunning himself on the deck this morning. (it's looks washed out since I took the pic through the window) I've always been told that when a dog sleeps on their back with belly fully exposed, they are completely comfortable with their home and surroundings. Well I guess he feels safe here! Anyway, thanks for reading my ramblings!

Ah, this blog so reminds me of "Thunder Thighs". I'm glad you finally found a good fit, although I apparently missed out on the pregnant yellow lab?
Have a great weekend, and Emma's birthday cake looks every bit as good as I can do-I'm just a plagarist from Family Fun mag. most years!
Love,
