After the unfortunate toilet issue yesterday, we were able to focus on Emma's 6th birthday! She is having a joint party with her little sister, Peyton, on the 19th of this month. Yesterday she opened presents from mommy, daddy, and gramma, grampa. She also received birthday money from her auntie Hillary and uncle Brent (thank you!!), so she was itching to spend it. I told her she could pick a local restaurant to go to for her special birthday dinner and she choose Branns. It's kind of like a cross between a steakhouse and Red Robins. Very kid friendly and fun. Now I must say that going out to dinner with 3 children by myself is NOT my idea of a good time, however the girls were well behaved and did great! Morgan was quite the little flirt with our waiter.......she kept giving him high 5's then would blush and grin from ear to ear! The wait staff brought Emma her own brownie dessert with a candle and sang for her.......she was thrilled! It was a fun time and Emma said it was her best birthday ever. (I'm sure she won't be so easy to please as a teenager!) We went to Target after dinner for the girls to pick out a toy (Daddy sent gift cards to all 3 of them) and then came home for bed. All in all a good day minus the spewing toilets! Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!!
